Shaykh Arsalan Haque
Shaykh Arsalan Haque, originally from Pakistan and raised in Texas, earned a Biochemistry degree from Texas A&M University in 2001. After studying Arabic and Islamic sciences in Damascus and earning a degree from al-Azhar University, he returned to the U.S. in 2013. He now serves as the Resident Scholar at the Islamic Association of Collin County and Director of Taqwa Seminary, and is married with four children. Shaykh Arsalan will be teaching the class 'Arbaeen An-Nawawi.'
Ustadh Morad Awad
Ustadh Morad Awad Barghouthi, a 38-year-old Palestinian American from New Jersey, holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Since 2008, he has been a lecturer, khateeb, and fundraiser. After studying under renowned scholars in Saudi Arabia and earning ijazahs in Quran and Hadith, he taught at King Saud University and the College of Excellence. He previously served as Youth Director at EPIC Masjid and now works as a religious consultant at various centers. Ustadh Morad will be teaching the course 'Usul Al-Fiqh.'
